  1. In trying to recover from the last class, I read the article and would like to state that while I do think blogging and public input is the future of journalism, we mustn’t forget the importance of certified journalists gathering credible sources and writing professional stories. I think that the public should use their power to comment on the issues that are newsworthy, sway the media to cover topics that they find important, and to expand ideas further that print may not have had the time/space/money/energy to create. Everything published online by the public should be taken with a grain of salt, and should be investigated to determine the credibility of the piece.
